Quote

“His readiness to undergo persecutions for his beliefs, the high moral character of the men who believed in him and looked up to him as leader, and the greatness of his ultimate achievement - all argue his fundamental integrity. To suppose Muhammad an impostor raises more problems than it solves. Moreover, none of the great figures of history is so poorly appreciated in the West as Muhammad.”
-W. Montgomery Watt, MOHAMMAD AT MECCA, Oxford, 195

Narrated Muhammad bin 'Amr: We asked Jabir bin 'Abdullah about the prayers of the Prophet . He said. "He used to pray Zuhr prayer at mid-day the 'Asr when the sun was still hot and the Maghrib after sunset (at its stated time). The 'Isha was offered early if the people gathered and used to be delayed if their number was less; and the morning prayer was offered when it was still dark. " Volume 1. Book 10. Number 540
